It is very important that you arrange housing before you arrive in New Orleans. Housing in the city is extremely limited and will be very difficult to arrange on short notice.
Tulane University offers some graduate housing options on their Downtown Campus at DEMING PAVILION. If you are a student in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, this is a very convenient option for you. You will need to apply for housing at Deming Pavilion through your Gibson Student Portal. Please note that you will be required to submit a refundable housing deposit in order to reserve a room in Deming Pavilion. Monthly rent charges will be added to your Gibson Student Portal billing statement according to your selection of room type and contract length. If you are a student in the School of Science & Engineering or School or Architecture, your program is located on the Uptown Campus location.
